Lumina AI
Effective date: June 4, 2026
Lumina AI is a Chrome extension that provides a developer-focused browser workspace for AI chat, page summaries, local notes, reminders, browser actions, prompt workflows, and a dedicated voice mode.
Information Stored Locally
Lumina AI stores the Groq API key, optional ElevenLabs API key, chat history, scratchpad notes, theme preference, voice settings, and timer or reminder metadata locally in the user's browser using Chrome extension storage.
Lumina AI does not operate a project-owned backend server for collecting or storing this data.
Information Sent To Third-Party Services
Information is sent to third-party services only when required for user-requested features.
- Groq receives prompts and selected or page text when the user requests AI chat, summaries, page answers, or voice replies.
- ElevenLabs is optional and receives text only if the user provides an ElevenLabs key and enables spoken replies.
- Wikipedia APIs may be queried when the user asks Lumina AI to search or summarize Wikipedia content.
- Search engines receive the user's query when the user asks Lumina AI to search the web.
Website Content
Lumina AI can summarize selected text or readable page text from websites. Website content is processed only after user action, such as clicking the page assistant, asking for a summary, or requesting an answer about the active page.
Lumina AI does not continuously monitor all browsing activity.
Remote Code
Lumina AI does not execute remote hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. All extension JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are packaged inside the extension. Network requests to Groq, optional ElevenLabs, Wikipedia, and search pages are API/data requests, not remote executable code.
Data Sharing And Sale
Lumina AI does not sell user data. Lumina AI does not transfer user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
User data is sent to third-party services only as necessary to provide user-requested extension features.
